Activties In addition to our local one day tour, take a look at what our midcoast region also has to offer. In less than an hour, Midcoast Outfitters invites you to explore Camden and Rockport. In the morning, take a refreshing moderate hike through the Camden Hills State Park for an overlook back towards Searsport and Camden Harbor. You can then catch a late morning boat ride on a Harbor cruise that our outfitters can arrrange in advance. If a cruise is not for you, enjoy shopping downtown and enjoy a fancy coffee in Camden's Merryspring Park. In the afternoon, we encourage you to have an unusual opportunity to see world famous artists, the Wyeth Family at the Farnsworth Museum. At the museum, catch a glimps of Maine life from a new angle. Down the road, take a tour of Rockland's Fresnel Museum. The museum features the development and history of these historic lighthouse lenses that kept many a ship off Maine's rocky coast.
