What is New?
Something new is happening on the Midcoast. Two new regions are going to be opened for an experimental moose hunt for 2008 and 2009. The hunt will be held simultaneously with the deer hunting season. Hunters may go to www.mefishwildlife.gov to print out a Moose lottery form. You can also purchase more than one chance and identify more than one district. The results nornally are published by the end of July at the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife site. We encourage people to apply for this unique chance to hunt on the coast.
